Comment(s): Plenty of open space for tents. Private Shelter provides excellent rain cover. Shares water & latrine with family sites.All groups and campers must be under the leadership of an adult (18 years of age or older).

Leaders assume all responsibility for their group; damage to the facilities used by their group, and the observance of all rules of the Horine
Reservation by their group.

Use of the Horine Conference Center is by reservation only and restricted to all other users.

Parking at overnight campsites is available (one vehicle for family sites, two vehicles for group sites). Additional vehicles should park in the main parking lot outside the campground gate. Since parking is limited, please consider carpooling.

Firewood can be ordered no later than 1 pm on the day of delivery. Fee: $12.50 per 20 pieces of split log.

Campers may pick up downed limbs to use as firewood. Please respect other campers and do not pick up firewood from other sites. It has been ordered and paid for by guests renting sites.

All trash and garbage must be removed from campsite and placed in approved containers at the campground entrance.

A full 48 hour notice of cancellation must be given in order to receive a full refund. As we are an outdoor facility, Louisville Parks Department/Jefferson Memorial Forest shall not be liable for delays or cancellations occasioned by: acts of God, act or omissions of the user or its designated participants, weather conditions, or other conditions beyond its reasonable control.
